??Elevated temperatures can change chemical resistance ratings. Chemical resistance guides are based on testing performed at ambient 70F (21C) and higher temperatures are likely to change these ratings. many chemicals will become more aggressive as temperatures increase, reducing the ability of materials to withstand them. It is the users responsibility to determine if the hose is compatible with the application. Also, coupling attachment becomes a even more critical at elevated temperatures. Only permanent crimp, internal expanded or swage style fittings should be installed or applications with temperatures above 125F. The working pressure of banded assemblies below 125F should be reduced to maintain a 4:1 design factor based on the assembly burst capability. Tube: Clear, ultra high molecular weight polyethyleneCover: Blue EPDM (flex corrugated)Reinforcement: High tensile tire cord plies;: helix wireWARNING! Combination nipple and bands reduce the working pressure of the assembly to less than the hose's maximum working pressure. Our Texcel Gamma flex is a more flexible chemical hose designed to handle 98% of all chemicals, solvents and corrosive liquids in both pressure and suction service.Applications:Acid, chemicals, solventsChemical transportIn-plant and storage tank transfer Typical length assemblies are 20ft or 25ft. We recommend domestic made camlocks to go with your domestic made Tank hose. If you have any questions please call (360) 734-6330.WARNING!
